Hi lovelies! As my blog is almost 6 months old (wait…what?!) I thought I would share with you some facts so you can get to know me more, and when the wonderful Laura-Beth nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award, it was a perfect opportunity!
). I’m a shopaholic – like to the point where I will gladly bankrupt myself for the perfect shoes, bag or item of clothing… it’s gotten to the stage where I no longer have space in my wardrobe for my shoes and my door hooks are overcrowded with coats and bags… maybe my new year’s resolution could be to appreciate what I have and not impulse buy because ‘it looked good on another blogger’… (not even sorry).
). Houseplants have become my new obsession – I only have one small windowsill in my flat and it has become a sanctuary for all my houseplants, from tiny little succulents to an ever-growing spider plant! Even my friends and family know how much I love them and have brought me some when they visit!
). I photograph everything – before I even became a blogger I used to photograph every little thing, not because it was ‘trendy’ to do so but because I have such an awful memory that I want to capture every little detail so that I always have my photos to go back to and remember!
). When I was younger I was a Digitabulist – you’re probably wondering what the hell that is and to be fair I had to google it, but it’s a term for thimble collectors! When I was around 6/7 I used to collect little porcelain thimbles. For every holiday, day trip or even holidays that other people went on I would always ask for a thimble – I was a strange child… I think I still have them at home in the loft somewhere!
). I have a fear of flying – ever since my dad moved to France 12 years ago, I have flown out to see him once a year, often entirely on my own! You’d think that I’d be used to flying but NOPE. I hate it. I like to have both feet firmly on the ground and by far the worst part is take off and landing… you will often see me clutching my seat in terror!
). I used to be part of an Am-dram society – there are even DVDs so I can never forget the embarrassment! I did actually enjoy it and I did build up a lot of confidence, though my family never let me forget that my first role (in Jungle Book) was playing a rock. A ROCK… I mean come on!
). My goal in life is to own a dog! – Now strangely enough when I was younger I used to be so scared of dogs, every time we visited my nan, who had a jack russell named Lucky, I would always make my mum pick me up until we left the house (sorry mum!). I now absolutely adore dogs and would get one in a heartbeat, if a). I could afford one and b). I didn’t have to leave it on its own whilst I go to uni or work. My dad actually has a gorgeous golden retriever, LOOK HOW CUTE HE WAS AS A PUPPY AND HOW CUTE HE STILL IS!!
