Sorry, I’ve been MIA lovelies, February has been a crazy month for me! My dissertation has taken over my life so I spend most of my time planning my research or taking regular, much-needed naps… but I have had some exciting blog stuff happen and I’ve achieved some of my blogging goals! I thought I would share with you what I’ve been up too, so enjoy…
Living on my own, people often ask me “don’t you get lonely being all by yourself” and my answer is simple – no! Being alone doesn’t necessarily mean that you are lonely, I have learnt over the years to love my own company. I can do what I want when I want and how I want!
I apologise in advance for this long-ass post! Okay, so today’s post is a pretty personal one and it’s something that I have wanted to write about for a while now. Today is Time to Talk Day, so what perfect way to end mental health discrimination than by talking openly about my mental health journey. I hope by reading this you will not only understand a bit about what I and 1 in 4 people can live with but also make it easier to be there for someone who needs your help.
Whether you are in a relationship or single this Valentine’s Day, it is always important that you treat yo’self! 2018 is the year of self-love and “if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?” (I’ve just started watching RuPaul’s Drag Race, can you tell that I am absolutely LOVING it?!).
