Happy December! Christmas is my favourite time of the year so I was super excited to put my decorations up this weekend, though I am a little sad that I couldn’t fit all my decorations in my flat as it’s much smaller than my flat last year! I thought I would share with you how I decorated, including my cute lil Christmas tree!
I bought this bunting last year from The Range! It didn’t feel Christmassy enough on its own so I added tinsel to my photos that were already up (I did go a bit OTT with the tinsel this year…)
The cute lil’ Santa snowglobe is also from The Range last year, he isn’t actually balancing precariously in my tree like that don’t worry! Also, the adorable fox Christmas planter is from Aldi, I picked him and a reindeer one up last week as I couldn’t resist the opportunity to extend my houseplant family (I also went crazy here with tinsel and fairy lights!). The reindeer mug is from Asda, who have been killing it with the Christmas home decor this year!
I’m in love with my Christmas bedding this year! The brushed cotton duvet from Primark is soooooo snug and cosy, and with the addition of brushed cotton sheets… I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE MY BED… EVER (whoever invented brushed cotton sheets deserves a medal!). My cute trio of cushions are, again, from Asda (of course!).
Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!:
My cute lil’ Christmas tree is from The Range, along with all the scandi-themed decorations! I love these decorations because they are so simplistic and cute – the fox is my favourite, I couldn’t find a tree topper to match so I put him pride of place!
I’m feeling super Christmassy, now I’m going to snuggle up with a mug of hot chocolate and watch Christmas films!
p.s. I’d love to see how you’ve decorated this year! Send me your photos over on Twitter or put a link to your blog post below!
p.p.s. sorry for the quality of the photos, it’s so hard to get good lighting this time of year! Definitely need to invest in a softbox at some point!
